Hi and welcome to Americanada

I'm American (and a proud one. I'm also a native New Yorker (born in Brooklyn and raised there and Queens.) Exploring Canada has been my passion for a very long time. My goal is to see all of it before I die. I've done very well so far in this quest.

Presently, I'm writing this from the city of Whitehorse in the Yukon (my first visit.) I made time this summer to visit it this summer and a friend suggested that I blog about it and all of my other visits to locations in Canada.

When not traveling, I teach high school English in New York City (22 years.)
